About us

"Live your life as if you were going to die tomorrow. Farm your land as if you were going to live forever"

Well Manor is a small family farm on the Surrey Hampshire borders committed to producing top quality fibre. Nestling into rolling hills just a few miles from the market town of Farnham and surrounded by countryside of outstanding natural beauty. Our aim is to develop and produce the best fibre from traditional and rare breeds for handspinners, handweavers and knitters. The management of the farm with conservation and promotion of wild life and traditional farming methods at a fore.

As a passionate fibre fan, Emma was frustrated by the increasing difficulty in being able to source quality fleece, fibre and yarns from British flocks and herds.

With Emmas' love of knitting and spinning which started as a child it was only natural to develop the woollen and fibre products from our flock of Gotlands and Shetland. Subsequently Emma embarked on a breeding programme, now in its third year to produce the UKs first commercial Pygora herd. Well Manor now offer exceptionally high quality yarns and fleece from their own animals.
